JUNE 2009

Dear Friend:

Well, the good news in June is that we have finally completed the incredible intensification of April and May. I’m sad to say that all of my predictions for that time came to pass: communications broke down between individuals and nations. Telephones, computers, televisions – any technology having to do with communication – acted weird and even ceased to function for periods of time (such as this website!). We experienced earthquakes, fires, floods, amazing storms and bizarre weather occurrences. We saw powerful emotions that ended relationships and/or in many cases, erupted into violence. The chaotic energy drained us of vitality, causing us to feel overwhelmed and despondent.

But now June and July are entirely different kind of energies. The month of June is tremendously important. All of that blocked energy we’ve been experiencing is going to break loose, now, and is going to feel like everything is equally important and demanding our attention all at once. Those business deals that couldn’t get negotiated will be finalized in this time. Many who ended relationships during the past two months will reconcile. We’ll come into clarity about matters and make decisions/take actions that will move our lives forward.

The energies of this time clarify communication, resolve issues, and break loose blockages. So I’m going to tell you to put the month of June to good use. This is the time to start your new projects, to get out and find that job you’ve been wanting or needing, to have that important conversation, to take your trips, to have your elective surgeries….and, if the holidays are important to you, you might also want to do your Christmas shopping, for the energies of the rest of the year will be so intense and so chaotic that you may blink your eyes and discover it’s Christmas Eve and you haven’t gotten around to preparing for it! (And that’s only a slight exaggeration.)

I also want to urge you to use the month of June to bring yourself into positive alignment (emotionally and spiritually) in preparation for the powerfully accelerated externalization cycle that begins on July 3rd and continues through most of August. In fact, from July 3rd through the rest of this year, we will be experiencing powerfully intense aspects affecting world change. I can’t even begin to describe to you the immensity of the energies and the events that I am foreseeing. If you’ve read on this website about externalization cycles (if you haven’t, I strongly urge you to do so), then you know that the energy that you’re in when you enter an externalization cycle is magnified many times over. So it’s very important that we do everything we can to bring ourselves into a state of joyful expectation as we approach the month of July. Do whatever it takes. Read books or go out and rent movies that are funny and uplifting. Listen to heart-filling music. Surround yourself with friends who are capable of seeing humor in the events of our times.

The three things that I find most beneficial as I enter into intensified externalization cycles are laughter, music, and the excitement of beginning a new project. Those three things can put me on a roll and with them, I can get on top of the energy of the externalization and ride it like a wave. This can be a time of great accomplishment…..or, for those who enter this time filled with anxiety or despair, it can be a time of absolute chaos. It is what we make of it…..totally dependent upon the attitude and energy we bring to it.

During the month of June, we’ll see that the events of our lives begin to come into alignment. People will be more cooperative. It will be easier to hear each other and we’ll have the vitality to be more responsive to each other….so relationships definitely will be improved. Things will just generally feel easier.

I think by now it has become apparent to everyone – even the least spiritually aware soul – that we are in a time of universal transition, and that everything is changing. But the most enormous changes are taking place within the souls of humankind. We’re all being challenged. I think of the energies of this transition as being somewhat like a roller coaster. We swing rapidly from highs to lows, highs to lows, highs to lows, or, if you think in terms of internalization/externalization, you can say that we swing rapidly inward, then outward…inward, then outward. I guess that’s more accurate, although it sure feels like ups and downs most of the time. We’ve been in an inner cycle, internalized….unable to be responsive to each other….shut down. And now, we’re moving into an externalized cycle that reawakens and revitalizes us. The internalization brings things to a halt and compels us to reassess our lives. The externalization compels us to movement and to resolutions. It brings all that we have learned while reassessing and puts it into action to create necessary change in our lives.

As I’ve said many times, it’s all in purpose.

Another thing I’ve said many times and will continue to repeat as long as I’m teaching is that the lesson is never in the event, but always in our response to the event. I can’t even begin to tell you how frequently people come to me, bemoaning the state of their lives….telling me that they’re striving to live a spiritually clean life, asking “Why me? Why does it have to be so hard? Why did my loved one die or leave me? Why am I having financial problems? Why did the storm blow my house down or the flood wash it away? If I’m living in accordance with Spiritual rules, shouldn’t it be easier?” My answer is that we didn’t come into the Earth trials for a spiritual vacation. We came here to work. We came here to be in the experiences of this place (of this dimension), and to learn to respond to the experiences of this dimension with integrity. As we become more mature souls, Spirit doesn’t ask less of us – it asks more of us. The spiritual children get taken care of. They are housed, clothed, and the adults clean up their crap.

You’re an adult – you wouldn’t be reading this newsletter if you weren’t. So you get to house yourself, to provide to yourself and others….and if you make a mess, you have to clean it up. Spirit also throws a few other messes onto your path just to give you the opportunity to respond in integrity. As we experience this world, we are constantly confronted with new challenges. Children are only asked to carry the bag of potato chips in from the car….the adults carry the heavy loads. So, that your load is heavy is reason to rejoice. It means that Spirit knows that you have developed the internal muscles and the clarity to be able to handle whatever life presents to you with Grace.

Certainly all of us, when we get broadsided with an event, will have a knee-jerk reaction of “woe is me, how could this be happening to me”, but the important thing is that when we catch ourselves doing this, we take a deep breath and immediately say, “OK, Spirit….I need your help….I need you to move me in a direction that is going to honor all involved….and I need to be shown the purpose and the gift in this event.”

The one thing that I know, now, with absolute certainty, is that even the most difficult situation that life presents to us has a gift hidden within it. It’s our task to seek the gift, which we will always find as soon as we stop blaming God, fate, others, or ourselves for the event having happened. One thing is for certain….we will never be able to find the gift or to be in alignment with Spirit while we are muddling around in the darkness and bemoaning our “fate”. We will ALWAYS find the gift and feel the loving protection and support of Spirit when we acknowledge the rightness of all things and consciously seek the gift.
